UNDP Rwanda Country Programme Document (2025-2029)

February 10, 2025

UNDP Rwanda’s 2025-2029 Country Programme is designed to accelerate sustainable and inclusive development, aligned with Rwanda’s Vision 2050 and National Strategy for Transformation (NST2). The program focuses on three key areas: economic growth and climate resilience, transformational governance, and social inclusion.

Key priorities include creating 1.25 million jobs, strengthening governance and accountability, expanding renewable energy access, promoting gender equality, and enhancing disaster risk management. Through innovation, digitalization, and strategic partnerships, UNDP aims to empower communities, support climate-smart development, and foster peace and prosperity for all Rwandans.

This five-year plan is a commitment to leaving no one behind, ensuring that vulnerable groups, including youth, women, and people with disabilities, benefit from Rwanda’s continued transformation.
