The United Nations Development Programme Country Office (UNDP) and the Saudi Youth Society (SYS) solidified their collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding during the UNCCD COP16 in Riyadh. This partnership emphasizes their mutual commitment to empowering youth and advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By mainstreaming the SDGs, both entities aim to strengthen capacity-building initiatives for young people across the Kingdom.

As part of their efforts, the youth team shared their experiences from the Summer Training Programme at the UNDP Saudi Arabia Country Office, where they prepared for COP16. Their contributions were recognized through certifications of appreciation and completion. This initiative is a testament to the transformative power of youth engagement in achieving sustainable development.
