Deputy Resident Representative
Mr. Fabrizio Andreuzzi
Prior to this appointment to UNDP Serbia, Mr. Andreuzzi served as UNDP Deputy Resident Representative, Programme and Operations, in the island state of the Union of Comoros in Africa. Before his posting in Comoros, Mr Andreuzzi served at the UNDP Crisis Bureau in New York where he led the crisis response corporate policy, procedures and tools in support of country offices, and he also worked as the desk officer for Europe and CIS. Prior to his work at the Crisis Bureau, he served in various capacities in the UNDP Crisis Response Unit (CRU), the Bureau for Crisis Prevention and Recovery (BCPR), the Regional Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean (RBLAC) where he joined UNDP for the first time in 2008 as part of the LEAD Programme. Before joining UNDP, Mr Andreuzzi served as a Junior Professional Officer (JPO) with the UN World Food Programme in Somalia and Sudan. Prior to joining the UN, Fabrizio worked with an international NGO in Afghanistan and in the academia in Italy.
Mr Andreuzzi holds a doctorate degree on development economics from the Roma Tre university in Italy and a university degree on development and environmental economics from the same university. He speaks Italian, English, Spanish, and French.
Mr Andreuzzi is married with 3 children. He enjoys spending time with his family, running, exploring nature, non-fiction reading and culture.
