Modernization of Learning for Public Administration in the 21st Century

Belgrade, December 20, 2023 - The final conference, "The Future of Learning," was held at the National Academy of Public Administration (NAJU) within the "Civil Service Training for the 21st Century" project. The event was organized by NAPA and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), with the support of the Swedish International Development and Cooperation Agency (SIDA).
The conference was officially opened by the Head of Development Cooperation of SIDA, Anne-Charlotte Malm, the Acting Director of NAPA, Dejan Miletić, Minister Without Portfolio in Charge of Diaspora Issues, Đorđe Milićević, and UNDP Serbia Resident Representative, Yakup Berish.
The event presented the results of the modernization of public administration in Serbia achieved in the past three and a half years thanks to activities aimed at improving the knowledge and skills of public administration officials, including employees of the National Academy of Public Administration, through the introduction of new online tools for learning.
During the project, the National Academy for Public Administration optimised its activities in line with the quality management system, according to the ISO 9001 standard. This enabled the Academy to successfully present its work in international contexts, aligning itself with best practices and modern trends. The progress of the Academy was confirmed with a certificate of achievements in the field of quality.
The conference was held within the project "Civil Service Training for the 21st Century," implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in partnership with the National Academy of Public Administration with the support of the Swedish International Development and Cooperation Agency (SIDA).
