SDG Integration Center

The SDG Integration Center, established in January 2019, designs and implements integrated development solutions to accelerate Serbia's progress towards achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Center's vision is built on three key pillars: empowering society and people, with a special focus on women, girls, and youth, strengthening the ecosystem that supports an innovation and knowledge-based economy, and supporting further strengthening of regional and international partnerships.

In line with the national priorities and needs, by connecting various thematic areas, institutions, and stakeholders, the Center enables a multisectoral approach to development for achieving long-term and sustainable solutions.

The Center’s portfolio of activities covers various themes that address contemporary challenges: from promoting sustainable investments and financing mechanisms, through developing and positioning the BIO4 campus as a new bioeconomy hub in Europe, supporting the strengthening of the innovation ecosystem and promoting circular migrations, to combating violence against women, economic empowerment of women, as well as promoting inclusion, tolerance, and positive narratives, especially among youth in the region.

The Center also serves often as a key point for cross-office initiatives and joint programming.
