UNDP's Country Programme Document for Somalia details the organization's plans to support the consolidation of development gains by assisting authorities and communities in providing better services, especially for vulnerable groups, basic security, and conflict resolution. 

UNDP aims to expand partnerships with stakeholders within Somalia and the diaspora, promote a participatory process of constitution-building, and support communities in monitoring and reducing violence in their neighborhoods.
