UNDP South Africa is working with the Government and people of South Africa, the private sector, United Nations agencies, academia, civil society organizations and other relevant stakeholders to address the triple development challenges of poverty, income inequality and unemployment. The country programme is operationalized through three interrelated portfolios, with critical emphasis on leaving no one behind and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals: a) Nature, Climate and Energy, b) Transformative Governance and c) Inclusive and Sustainable Growth with policy analysis, innovation, gender and social and environmental standards anchored within the three portfolios.

UNDP is looking to expand its supplier base and invites interested companies/consultants to submit an expression of interest for the provision of a range of goods and/or services to the UNDP South Africa Country Office. The detailed Request for Expression of Interest documents, i.e., (i) Full Request for Expression of Interest and (ii) Invitee Response Form can be downloaded from this webpage. Companies/Consultants will be considered in accordance with the procedure set out in the UNDP Procurement Guidelines and UNDP Financial Rules and Regulations. 

Expressions of interest and supplier profile registrations must be received no later than 30 September 2024. Queries must be sent to eoi2024.za@undp.org no later than 27 September 2024

UNDP South Africa Country office does not procure human vaccines, auto-disable syringes, safety boxes (for disposal of injection equipment), pharmaceuticals, micronutrients and therapeutic foods and other food items. Therefore, it is not required to include the manufacturers and suppliers of those pharmaceutical and food items in this market survey.
