The President of the Court of Appeal (Tribunal de Recurso)- H.E. Deolindo dos Santos on 28 May 2018 validated and proclaimed the final results of the 2018 Parliamentary Elections. The results were declared  valid after the provisional national results were submitted by CNE the previous week.

The results has declared AMP as the most voted coalition/political party representing in the Parliament with 34 seats followed by FRETILIN- 23, PD- 5 and FDD- 3 seats. The court also declared the list of candidates as Members of Parliament based on the number of seats gained by political parties and coalitions.
