Watch the success stories of the winner startups of the SDG Impact Accelerator Programme, supporting entrepreneurs to create innovative solutions for the most vulnerable groups

As the SDG Impact Accelerator (SDGia) Programme’s second phase implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Türkiye and the Ministry of Industry and Technology comes to an end, five successful ideas by startups turn into problem-solving initiatives on agriculture and finance. Effective in the least developed countries, the newly designed technological solutions aim to increase farmers’ well-being and income.

The programme supported the five winning startups on their way to develop technologies through digitalization of financial and agricultural practices in Bangladesh and Uganda. Now is the time to observe the benefits of those projects. UNDP teams made their way to the field to see the results and talked with the locals who have experienced a positive change in their lives.

See below for the startups’ field of expertise and their success stories.

All these efforts have contributed to reducing poverty and hunger and promoting decent work and economic growth. Along with their ongoing activities, the startups continue the discussions with investors for further investments and developments.

In a nutshell, SDGia is defined as a global accelerator built by a multi-stakeholder platform focusing on empowering “systems entrepreneurs” and innovators who are providing impact at scale.
