The Innovation Campus, which is implemented with Samsung UNDP, Istanbul Technical University, and Turkey Informatics Foundation, is starting its first training in which the Internet of Things will be handled extensively. Students attending the free education program will be able to obtain internationally recognized certificates. The deadline for the training program is 9 February 2020.
Together with UNDP, Istanbul Technical University, and Turkey Informatics Foundation; Samsung Electronics launched the Innovation Campus within the scope of Samsung Electronics' new global corporate citizenship vision. The program aims to provide young people with a practical understanding of the technologies that will shape their future and to train a generation equipped with future-oriented skills. Within the framework of the training program, which has the mission of raising problem solvers equipped with the skills of the future worldwide, it is aimed to raise new talents and contribute to enriching the sustainable growth of the world.
The first training will be the Internet of Things
The first topic of the training program, which aims to equip young people aged 18-25 with critical and technical skills, will be the Internet of Things. In the selection stage, students will be evaluated on 5 basic criteria: having a basic STEM knowledge, having programming knowledge, having a programming experience, being interested in a program, and having a career goal. 240 hours of training will be given at Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Ayazaga campus. 160 hours of training will be given as lecturing, and 80 hours will be practice and project. At the end of the 3-month training program, students will have the opportunity to participate in the competition with practical projects, to have a career counseling support, and to have all the necessary equipment for implementing the project, and mentor guidance. Students will also receive a certificate.
