UNDP continues support to development of the National SDG Database
Ashgabat, July 22, 2022: In the framework of the “Partnering for SDG acceleration” project the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with the financial support of the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan, provided server equipment for the National SDG Database platform at the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan.
The platform acts as a software for the collection, processing and dissemination of SDG data. The creation of a national platform is aimed at developing a system for monitoring and measuring of data on the progress towards achieving the SDGs in Turkmenistan, assisting in the preparation of the national SDG progress reports, as well as ensuring an access for a wide range of users to the nationalized SDG targets and indicators data, thus, increasing the national statistical capacity of Turkmenistan on SDGs reporting.
Reminder: earlier we reported that UNDP supported the State Statistics Committee with the development of the software for the National SDG Database, now complemented with the hardware.
