"Digitalization has essentially become an industrial revolution, impacting technology, public administration, and society as a whole. It is crucial that Turkmenistan pays such significant attention to this process — it will greatly enhance the well-being of the population and the country's role in the region", emphasized Dostov during the training.

During the seminar, participants — representatives of the communication sector, the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the Central Bank, and other banks of Turkmenistan — explored key aspects of digital transformation, including the role of artificial intelligence, blockchain, quantum computing, data-driven governance, and digital hygiene.

"The Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy in Turkmenistan outlines a clear vision: to establish robust digital systems that drive sustainable economic growth, enhance competitiveness, improve the quality of life for citizens, and strengthen public governance. At the core of this vision lies Digital Culture—a key enabler of successful digital transformation",
stated Tomica Paovic, Deputy Resident Representative of UNDP in Turkmenistan.

These programs aim to effectively build digital systems for achieving sustainable economic growth, enhancing economic competitiveness, improving the quality of life for the population, and advancing public and local governance.
