June 30, 2024

Over the past two decades, Uzbekistan's GDP has steadily increased, diversifying the economy. Poverty has decreased from 24 percent in 2000 to 11.5 percent in 2020, pulling 2.2 million people out of poverty. It offers a strong body of evidence that stakeholders, practitioners, and policymakers may use to inform the development of specialized policies and interventions.
