Reproductive health is not only the absence of diseases of the reproductive system, but a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, the creation of favorable conditions in the family necessary for the birth of a healthy baby, and the promotion of the health of the mother and child.

The UN Volunteers team of the UN Joint Programme*, with the support of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, prepared a number of recommendations for the health of mothers and children.
