Jointly organized by the Central Institute for Economic Management under the Ministry of Planning and Investment (CIEM-MPI) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the VEP has become a collaborative annual forum for exploring policy directions resonating with emerging trends in technology and environmental sustainability.

The forum, themed “Navigating the Future: Adapting Viet Nam’s Policies and Business Strategies to Global Economic, Technological and Environmental Shifts,’’ featured insights from economists and business leaders on how Viet Nam can enhance technological capabilities, attract investment, and advance a green economic transformation.

Key topics addressed at the forum included:

  • Enhancing Productivity and Technological Advancements: Assessing the state of productivity in key industries and exploring ways to drive technological progress to bolster Viet Nam’s long-term economic performance.

The VEP forum underscores the long-term vision to foster an inclusive, sustainable, and resilient economic framework that positions Viet Nam as a leader in green technology and innovation. With forward-looking strategies, Viet Nam can adapt to and thrive within the rapidly shifting global landscape.
