The research “Review of District Budget Disclosure in 2023 and Case Studies of Budget Disclosure in Public Educational Institutions in Lang Son and Ba Ria – Vung Tau Provinces” was conducted by the Vietnam Center for Economic and Strategic Studies (VESS), the Center for Development and Integration Social Enterprise (CDISE), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Viet Nam, with support from Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and the Embassy of Ireland through the UNDP’s Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI) research program. The study assesses the implementation of district budget disclosure on the webpages of 705 district-level People’s Committees across Viet Nam and highlights good practices in education budget disclosure in two provinces of Lang Son and Ba Ria – Vung Tau.
