Survey Report on the Environmental Conditions and Utilization of the Riverine Space along the Red River in Phuc Tan and Chuong Duong Wards, Hoan Kiem District, Ha Noi

The Livable Hanoi Network has collaborated with the Faculty of Architecture and Planning at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) to conduct a citizen survey on the environmental conditions and the usage of the riverine zones of Phuc Tan and Chuong Duong wards in Hoan Kiem District. They have also convened several stakeholder engagement activities. The survey report aims to reflect residents’ aspirations on how to use the riverine area more sustainably and introduces good practices, thereby contributing to Ha Noi’s sustainable urban development goals. The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Viet Nam has supported these activities with funding from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
