Relying on its expertise in converging humanitarian, development and peacebuilding goals, UNDP, as part of the coordinated UN response, is assisting the people and the Government of Ukraine to recover and reconstruct now, while safeguarding development gains and progress towards structural transformation and reforms.

Based on three decades of trusted partnership with the Government of Ukraine, UNDP has been working with municipalities, civil society organizations, and business associations across the country, prioritizing increase of investment in Ukraine’s recovery and establishing of national and localized ecosystems for reconstruction. UNDP’s response, in line with Government priorities, comprises five main areas of work: crisis response, maintaining public services, safe returns and infrastructure rehabilitation, inclusive economic growth, and maintaining social fabric and supporting civil society.
