The ERRY III Progress Brief - Issue 8 provides a comprehensive overview of the joint program's background and the progress made in implementation until May 2023. It highlights the significant events and success stories during the reporting period, showcasing the achievements of the joint program ERRY II. The primary objective of this progress brief is to offer a quarterly update in both Arabic and English languages to all stakeholders of the joint program.
ERRY III is a three-year program, generously funded by the EU and Sweden, known as the 'Supporting Resilient Livelihoods, Food Security, and Climate Adaptation in Yemen Joint Programme'. It is jointly implemented by esteemed organizations such as the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), International Labour Organization (ILO), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and World Food Programme (WFP). The joint program's overarching goal is to mitigate vulnerability and enhance the resilience of crisis-affected communities in Yemen by establishing sustainable livelihoods, fortifying food security, and facilitating access to essential services. These efforts are specifically targeted towards seven vulnerable governorates in Yemen.
