We work on plastic waste management and on cross-border trade in small ruminants with Niger and Burkina Faso.

Our Lab is working to build a portfolio of solutions to plastic waste management. In addition, we are working with Niger and Burkina Faso as part of the Africa Borderlands Center Innovation Challenge 2021 to promote cross-border trade in small ruminants. Finally, we are helping to better understand the link between climate and the security and resilience of communities in the interior delta of Niger. In order to achieve better results, we prioritize collaborative work through sensemaking, mapping of local solutions and experimentation. Several experience-sharing workshops have already been organized, in addition to the experimentation of mapped solutions in plastic waste management. We work in important partnerships in the implementation of these different actions.
