The reconstruction of the premises of the Women's Association “Ruža” and the asphalting of the road leading to these premises received the highest number of votes at the forums held by the citizens of the local community Donja Lohinja, which has about 1200 inhabitants. The general goal of this project is to increase the inclusivity of women in the social life of the city of Gračanica and to strengthen the role of women within the local community of Donja Lohinja. The Women's Association “Ruža” Donja Lohinja has 60 women members and was established three years ago, being an equal partner in all events within this local community. After renovating the premises, the association hosted several fairs that gather women's associations and entrepreneurs from the area, as well as several workshops.

“We want to have as many active members as possible, especially younger women to whom older members can pass on their knowledge and experience. Currently, in our renovated premises, we are trying to process fruits and vegetables and sell these products at fairs to self-finance.”
Amira Čelić Omerašević, representative of the Women's Association “Ruža”:

During the reconstruction of the association's premises, the access road was also asphalted, and Zijad Kapetanović, president of the LC Donja Lohinja Council, expressed his gratitude: “The project's goal was to gather young people, revitalize the association's premises, and provide space for more socializing and activities of this local community throughout the year.
