Operating under the UNDP Evaluation Policy, we produce impartial assessments of UNDP’s work, providing actionable insights to strengthen its contribution to development results globally.

Learning from experience is at the heart of effective development. By synthesizing insights from evaluations, we distill key lessons that can inform UNDP programming and policymaking. Our synthesis work operates at multiple levels—through global and regional synthesis reports, concise analyses in the Reflections series, and our founding role in the Global SDG Synthesis Coalition.
