Project
Peace & Development in the South Caucasus
Summary
Hosted by UNDP Georgia, the sub-regional Peace & Development Programme supports the three UN Country Teams in the South Caucasus to integrate crisis preparedness and peacebuilding into their programmes.
By facilitating dialogue, building capacity, and championing sub-regional initiatives, the programme strengthens the foundations for sustainable peace and resilience in Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia.
The programme team comprises the Regional Peace & Development Advisor (RPDA) and National Peace & Development Advisors (PDAs) in Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. Together, they support the UN Country Teams (UNCTs) through political analysis, crisis preparedness, and peacebuilding programming.
