A set of publications includes general characteristics, history, geography, business and tourism potential, and other facts about eight municipalities of Georgia. The municipality profiles are designed for potential investors to facilitate the implementation of local investment projects and contribute to the creation of new jobs, the growth of local incomes, and the sustainable development of the local economy.

The investment profiles were developed by the Association of Young Economists of Georgia (AYEG) in cooperation with Local Democracy Agency Georgia (LDA Georgia) within the scope of the project Fostering Regional and Local Development in Georgia, which is implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) with financial support from the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC).
