Public Safety and Security Perception Survey Report - Iraq 2019
October 21, 2019
The survey presents findings on public perceptions of safety and security in Iraq and was intended to inform government of Iraq's security sector reform efforts and implementation of its security sector reform programme (SSRP). The survey also aimed to gather recommendations from members of the public in ways in which safety and security can be improved at local level and also enhance their trust and confidence in the security service providers. This survey is a follow up from the safety and security perception survey conducted by Al Nahrain Centre for Strategic Studies (ANCSS) in 2016 and, therefore provides a useful comparison and assessment of changes on the ground.
