September 25, 2024
This publication presents the findings of a study on career counseling and decision-making among Jordanian youth. The research involved both an experimental phase, where 16 university students and graduates participated in counseling sessions using in-person, phone, and chat modalities, and an online survey, which gathered insights from 218 young individuals across Jordan. The study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of different counseling methods, identify trends in career aspirations, and assess the factors influencing youth career choices. This research provides valuable recommendations for enhancing career guidance services and supporting young people in Jordan's dynamic labor market.
