Entrepreneurial skills development and startup acceleration programme for creative industries in the Mangystau Region

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Kazakhstan announces the launch of a training programme to develop entrepreneurial skills and accelerate start-ups in the creative economy in the Mangystau region and invites everyone to participate. The initiative is implemented under the UNDP project to promote resilient communities and prevent violent extremism in Central Asia funded by the Government of Japan.

The six-week training programme will take place in the cities of Aktau, Beineu, and Zhanaozen and will be complemented by weekly online tracking support for teams.

The programme covers topics such as developing business plans, presenting ideas, business planning, digital marketing tools, financial management, protecting intellectual property, and adopting technology and innovation in the creative industries. The training will be delivered in weekly offline sessions.

As part of this programme, participants will develop their startups and programmes to develop existing business initiatives.

Participants in the training programme will also hear presentations from invited representatives of the creative industries.

The programme will conclude with the Startup Presentation Day, where team members will present their finished projects to the jury and potential investors.

  3. The best prepared and motivated applicants will be invited to participate in the training programme and notified by e-mail.
