The primary objective of the workshop was to galvanize stakeholders across the digital sector in Haiti towards the co-creation of an inclusive and impactful national strategy for digital transformation. With representation from approximately fifty participants, including government institutions responsible for policy planning and implementation, private sector entities, civil society organizations, academic institutions, and UN agencies, the event fostered a collaborative environment conducive to ideation and innovation. 

Amidst the challenges posed by traditional in-person service delivery, the workshop highlighted the transformative potential of transitioning to digital services. By harnessing the power of technology and connectivity, governments can streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve accessibility for citizens across diverse demographics and geographic locations. 

Key discussions centered on the opportunities presented by digital solutions in revolutionizing public sector service delivery. From e-government platforms and online portals for citizen engagement to digital payment systems and virtual service centers, participants explored a myriad of strategies for leveraging technology to meet the evolving needs and expectations of Haitian citizens. 

Moreover, the workshop underscored the importance of fostering collaboration and partnerships between government agencies, private sector stakeholders, civil society organizations, and academic institutions. By working together towards a shared vision of digital transformation, Haiti can unlock new avenues for economic growth, social inclusion, and sustainable development. 

As the nation embarks on this journey towards digitalization, the workshop served as a catalyst for collective action and forward-thinking strategies. By embracing innovation and embracing digital solutions, Haiti has the opportunity to not only enhance public sector services but also to empower its citizens and build a brighter future for generations to come.
