The HIV and Health Strategy 2022-2025: Connecting the dots - Towards a more equitable, healthier, and sustainable future elaborates UNDP's work on HIV and health, which is guided by the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the UNDP Strategic Plan 2022–2025 and related regional programmes. It is informed by and complements the strategies and plans of key partners such as WHO, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria, UNICEF, UN Women and UNAIDS as well as the Global Action Plan for Healthy Lives and Well-Being.
UNDP’s work in HIV and health contributes to the organization’s strategic directions of change: leaving no one behind, building resilience, and structural transformation, as well as the Signature Solutions. Leveraging data, digital, strategic innovation, and sustainable financing, the HIV and Health Strategy 2022-2025 outlines UNDP support to countries in three inter-related areas: reducing inequalities, promoting effective and inclusive governance, and building resilient and sustainable systems.
The strategy underscores the importance of partnerships, collective action, and accountability in achieving the ambition and goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
UNDP works with United Nations, multilateral, government, civil society, academic and private sector partners to deliver results for the most marginalized and vulnerable while driving equity, resilience, and sustainability.
