The economic profile of the micro-cluster “Herbafruct” provides an analysis of the actors and dynamics of a micro-region that has the potential to become one of the main development centres specialised in the production, processing, and distribution of medicinal, oil-bearing and aromatic plants, and derived products such as essential oils, infusions and blends. 

The profile also offers insights into the suggested development strategy and investment prospects arising from partnerships formed with both local and international partners. 

The micro-cluster “Herbafruct” is developed with the support of the Swiss-funded and UNDP-implemented project "Resilient and Inclusive Markets" and aims to revitalize and relaunch the medicinal and aromatic plants sector in the country.
