The “Guideline for integrating climate changes in the waste management policy” is the support material for a series of dedicated trainings to facilitate the implementation of the Paris Climate Agreement at sectoral level in the Republic of Moldova. It includes information on how to measure the impact on climate changes resulting from this sector, and how can these impacts be mitigated. It includes an analysis of the interaction between the effects of climate change and the development of waste management infrastructure. Methods for aligning sector policies and climate change policies are presented, together with a series of funding opportunities dedicated to climate changes and their relevance for the waste sector in Moldova.
