Who we are
UNDP works in about 170 countries and territories, helping to eradicate poverty, reduce inequalities and exclusion, and build resilience so countries can sustain progress. As the UN’s development agency, UNDP plays a critical role in helping countries achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
In Namibia, UNDP's Country Programme Document (CPD) aligns with the National Development Plans (NDP's) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF). We collaborate with partners and communities to accelerate the achievements of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, and Partnership (5P's) by 2030.
