Climate Change Vulnerability Mapping in Nepal

This document explores information on the vulnerability to climate change and its magnitude in in Nepal. The study used data on the spatial distribution of various climate related risks/exposure in 75 district of Nepal. The study aims to able to present information viewed from various climatic threats and suggests urgent and immediate measure to minimize their impacts. This report was carried out- overlaying climate risk/ exposure maps, sensitivity maps and adaptive capacity maps following the vulnerability assessment framework of the United Nations Inter-Governmental Panel of Climate Change (IPCC). The report is an extended effort to the National Adaptation Programme of Action (NAPA) in Nepal.
