Lagos, 20 August 2024 — The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) is pleased to announce the onboarding of six new Talent Management Companies (TMCs) to enhance the programme's reach and effectiveness. This strategic move is designed to provide more specialized, region-specific support, ensuring that the diverse needs of fellows and host organizations are met with greater relevance and efficiency.

These TMCs will bring dedicated expertise to their designated regions, ensuring that the quality and relevance of the support provided to fellows and host organizations are significantly enhanced. Their key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and screening potential host organizations.

  • Revalidating fellows and existing host organizations.

  • Matching fellows with credible and vetted host organizations.

  • Facilitating professional development opportunities for both fellows and host organizations.

  • Monitoring and evaluating the progress of placements to ensure success.

The TMCs are strategically placed across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones:

  • North East: north-east.tmc@njfp.ng

  • North West: north-west.tmc@njfp.ng

  • North Central: north-central.tmc@njfp.ng

  • South West: south-west.tmc@njfp.ng

  • South East: south-east.tmc@njfp.ng

  • South South: south-south.tmc@njfp.ng

This regional approach is expected to provide fellows with more tailored support, allowing them to thrive in their placements and gain the most from the programme. For any placement-related issues, fellows can contact the NJFP Call Center via:

The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme, a youth empowerment initiative by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and funded by the European Union, is designed to bridge the gap between young professionals and employment opportunities.

The programme matches fellows with host organizations that align with their expertise, providing them with world-class practical knowledge and skills over a 12-month period. This initiative was developed in response to the rising rates of unemployment and underemployment in Nigeria, aiming to equip the next generation of leaders with the tools they need to succeed.
