"Our company "Alaiku Organics" participated as well. As the exhibition was much more large-scale compared to others, it was very useful for us to meet with many entrepreneurs and manufacturers. We were able to present our unique products in the form of national and soft drinks, snacks, honey and explain the history and philosophy of the products, as well as give interested customers an opportunity to taste the products. We had many meetings and exchanged contacts for further cooperation and promotion of products, handed over promotional materials and some product samples.”
Mametova Meerim, External Relations and Export Manager, Alaiku Organics LLC.
Moreover, the participants noted that they had the opportunity not only to discuss the export of products, but also to consider possibilities of importing missing raw materials, packaging products and collect information about companies that could be potential distributors of their goods in Russia. During the exhibition, the organisers organised meetings and offered services to producers of food processing equipment, packaging, labelling, which is very important for domestic production.
Participation of Kyrgyz companies in the exhibition was organized by the UNDP project "Aid for Trade in Central Asia" with financial support of the Government of Finland.
