This knowledge report focuses on UNDP-Magic Bus India Foundation initiative to support people who lost their jobs due to the pandemic through a combination of career guidance, counselling and linkages with employers. As part of UNDP's COVID-19 recovery response, the initiative was implemented between August 2020 and March 2021 across six cities in four states (Karnataka, Telangana, Delhi NCR and Maharashtra). The intervention has successfully placed 6,341 individuals in jobs across various sectors. 80% of these individuals are in the age group of 18-25 years, 32% are women, and one-fifth are migrants.
