Ghana’s National Cooling Plan aims to serve as a roadmap to transform the country’s Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) sector to best available technologies to achieve sustainable cooling that will support economic growth and reduce overall impact on the environment. The plan will help to support market-transformation programs such as Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS), labelling and rebate schemes for high-efficiency and low- Global Warming Potential (GWP) cooling appliances.
