This Workshop Handbook & Policy Toolbox presents the policy dialogue and thematic discussions held at the International Workshop for Public Construction Transparency held on 2-4 December 2015 in Seoul, Republic of Korea. The meeting brought together some 70 overseas participants from 20 countries, as well as 30 other participants from Korea to discuss effective means to promote transparency and accountability in the public construction sector, using the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Clean Construction System as a reference point. This publication presents the policy initiatives and lessons learnt and serves as a reference for further knowledge sharing. In particular, the Policy Toolbox section provides a concise summary of Korea’s initiatives. The workshop was organized by the USPC, in partnership with the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
