The Action Plan for Strengthening Responsible Production and Trade of Pineapple collects action lines and tasks that are considered strategic to improve environmental and social performance of pineapple production in Costa Rica.

These actions were proposed between June 2011 and March 2014 by over 900 people representing over 50 organizations related with pineapple in Costa Rica, through the National Platform for Responsible Production and Trade of Pineapple in Costa Rica. Each action articulates efforts shared by producers, the State, civil society organizations, traders, and consumers.
