UNDP in Kyrgyzstan focuses on sustainable, resilient, inclusive and gender-responsive development-oriented policies and accountable institutions for economic growth. Green entrepreneurship and investment environment is being supported in partnership with the private sector to increase economic productivity and trade, especially for women and youth.  

Our Green economic transformation and inclusive development cluster supports Kyrgyzstan both macro level (policy advice) and micro level (grassroots activities). We support priorities set forth by the Kyrgyz Government through assistance in developing and implementing policies and strategies that support socioeconomic advancement for the country. In this end, the programme participates in and supports analytical work to help policy makers come to better informed decisions.
