Conventional approaches to justice and rule of law promotion have fallen short in addressing past, present and future injustices. Responding to today’s justice demands and realizing the transformative potential of justice for sustained peace and development requires rethinking traditional approaches to justice, embracing complexity, and mobilising a multi-disciplinary approach that focuses on addressing both the symptoms of inequalities and injustice and advancing systemic and structural change.
The Justice Futures CoLab champions justice and the rule of law as core elements of preventing, responding and recovering from conflict, crisis and fragility across the development spectrum.
