The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the Maldives provided initial support to the design of ‘Unsuru’ newsletter by the Prosecutor General’s Office.
The newsletter will be a key tool for the Prosecutor General’s Office in the disclosure of information, public advocacy and in ensuring transparency, accountability and wide ownership of their work.
"Products launched by Prosecutor General’s Office are vital for engaging individuals, institutions, partners and the public in a direct line of communication and a bond of mutual trust,” said Enrico Gaveglia, UNDP Resident Representative in the Maldives at the launching ceremony, noting the progressive, trusted partnership between UNDP and the entirety of the justice sector of the Maldives.
