The UNDP's Digi-Chiquihuites project promotes inclusive digitization for post-COVID-19 recovery, benefiting female micro-entrepreneurs in the tourism sector and teachers affiliated with the Salvadoran Institute for Teacher Welfare (ISBM) in El Salvador. This report highlights results and lessons learned, supporting the reduction of digital divides and promoting the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.

The Digi-Chiquihuites project has been one of UNDP's initiatives for inclusive digitization as a catalyst for sustainable economic and social recovery through rapid response funds to the COVID-19 crisis (RRF1). It focused on two populations severely affected by the pandemic: women micro-entrepreneurs in the tourism sector and teaching staff affiliated with the Salvadoran Institute for Teacher Welfare (ISBM).

This document presents the results and lessons learned from the experimentation methodologies of the El Salvador Acceleration Lab in the tourism sector component, applied in the Digi-Chiquihuites Project.

With this document, UNDP contributes to the progressive formation of knowledge to help reduce digital divides and address the challenge of leaving no one behind on the path to achieving the objectives of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.
