This report highlights the vital role played by the United Nations (UN) and its international stakeholders in supporting Libya's High National Elections Commission (HNEC) and other relevant institutions in conducting electoral processes. The UN Electoral Support Team (UNEST), comprising experts from the UN Development Programme (UNDP) and the UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), has been instrumental in providing technical advice and assistance while respecting Libya's national ownership of the process. In this report, we will delve into the significant achievements and progress made by PEPOL throughout the year 2023.
