A significant portion of the discussion centered on the need to strengthen Kazakhstan's SDG mechanisms, emphasizing the growing global trend of involving Supreme Audit Institutions in the evaluation of SDG implementation. The necessity for a comprehensive national assessment of SDG progress was also addressed, particularly in light of Kazakhstan’s newly endorsed National Development Plan.

The parties agreed to cooperate to introduce methodological approaches to audit the implementation of SDGs. The meeting concluded with a reaffirmed commitment from both parties to deepen their collaboration and drive forward Kazakhstan's SDG agenda with renewed vigor.
