To implement the UN Disability Inclusion Strategy, in particular indicator 13, "Employment," the UNDP in Kyrgyzstan has developed the Disability-Inclusive Employment Roadmap 2024-2027. This Roadmap is the strategic framework for creating employment opportunities for persons with disabilities within UNDP offices, programmes, and projects. The purpose of this Roadmap is to attract, recruit, and promote accessibility, career development, and job retention for persons with disabilities.

The implementation of the Disability-Inclusive Employment Roadmap will enable the creation of an open, inclusive, and accessible environment for persons with disabilities to exercise their rights to work. This will enable the UNDP to promote disability inclusion experiences that empower persons with disabilities to live independent and self-reliant lives, contribute to society, and participate in decision-making that affects their lives.
