Analyses of the judicial practice on ‘mandatory moving in’ cases is a research paper prepared in cooperation with the "Legal Support" Human Rights Public Association of Uzbekistan within framework of the "Strengthening the rule of law and human rights protection in Uzbekistan" the joint project United Nations Development Program in Uzbekistan, the Authorized Person of the of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Human Rights (Ombudsman) and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan with financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland.

The paper contains analyses of the implementation of legislation on housing by reviewing the court decisions related to ‘mandatory moving-in’. In course of the research 244 court decisions were reviewed.

The purpose of this analyses is twofold. Firstly, this activity aimed to strengthen the capacities of local NGOs and civil society organizations in performing such analyzed. Secondly, by reviewing the judicial practice, researchers intended to identify the bottlenecks and issues related to housing rights.
