The consultations, which brought together development marked the first step in aligning national development priorities with the ones of the new UNDP Country Programme.

The discussions centered around identifying key development challenges and opportunities, as well as shaping the framework for UNDP’s interventions in the country over the next cycle. This round of consultations is part of a broader global effort by the UNDP to ensure that its country programmes are responsive to the specific contexts in which they operate. The consultations will inform the drafting of the next UNDP Country Programme Document, which outlines the UNDP’s strategic priorities and resource allocation for the next phase of development cooperation.

The national consultations underscore the UNDP’s continued commitment to supporting countries in their pursuit of sustainable development, peace, and prosperity for all.
