Since the closure of UNDP Country Office in Moscow on 31 December 2010, UNDP and Russia entered a new stage of partnership, focused on cooperation at the regional and global level, and Russia’s growing donor role. With Russian funding, UNDP has been able to launch innovative initiatives across the region, addressing the needs of the vulnerable, spurring employment, growth and more effective governance.
