Andy Neumeyer
Plenary professor and former director (1999-2004 and 2010-2015) of the Department of Economics, Universidad Torcuato di Tella. Former Deputy General Manager for Economic Research at the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (BCRA). He is also a researcher at CONICET, was a professor at the University of Southern California and a visiting professor at several universities in the region and Europe, as well as New York University, University of Chicago and Stanford University. His research includes macroeconomics, economic development, and international finance. He has published in the American Economic Review, Journal of Monetary Economics and Econometrica. He was distinguished with the Guggenheim Fellowship, with the 2016 Konex Platinum Prize in Economic Theory and as a Fellow of the Econometric Society. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Global Development Network and has been president of the Latin American chapter of the Econometric Society. He is currently director of LACEA's international finance network.
